The beautiful gift of a pastor's blessing
The beautiful gift of a pastors blessing…
In Mexico, unlike in most of our churches, when a church member desires to serve with a ministry, he/she must receive their pastor’s approval. I’ve seen that more often than not pastors hesitate to release their church leaders to work with ministries outside of their church congregation. One pastor communicated that it’s hard to find good leaders so when he finds one he wants him/her to serve within his church.
Meet Camilla Croxton
Camilla was born and raised in Torrance, California and started attending Rolling Hills Covenant Church when she was just 6 weeks old! She grew up involved in all of the children's ministry activities which built her foundation for a relationship with Jesus and love for the Lord at an early age. Camilla began working in Children's Ministry at the age of 12 and it was then that she found she not only loved serving, but also had a passion for working with children.
An Inspiration
Are you willing to let God mold you into the leader He wants you to be?
Has God already given you initiative and determination to accomplish His work?
Can you think of some examples of dedicated and innovative leadership that you recall from any leaders in the Bible. How about from your community?
Our Call "Serve the Church"
