What Children Really Need

I am sitting at the desk of our EGM-Romania Director praying for our field research team in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The ministry in Romania is thriving and is celebrating nearly ten years of fruitful ministry. We are taking our first steps toward launching a new ministry in the DRC. In both places, we are working to see children transformed in Christ.

Latin America Expansion

Every Generation Ministries found it’s roots in the turbulent years of change in Eastern Europe following the collapse of the Soviet Union.

From those small beginning, God called EGM to help more churches reach out to the boys and girls in their communities.

Mexico Update

We are very excited about the gracious manner in which God is giving us the opportunity to move our ministries forward in Latin America. We have a received a gracious $60,000 challenge grant for our emerging ministries in Argentina, Mexico and Peru. Every gift designated for these ministries will be matched 1-1, up to $60,000. We are well over half way as of December 6, 2011. One of these three countries is particularly significant to Every Generation Ministries; Mexico.

Horse for the Course

The English horse racing world coined the term “horse for the course” - a reference to horses that run better on wet or dry courses. According to the British, certain horses fare better on wet and muddy courses while others excel on dry faster courses. "Encyclopedia of Word and Phrase Origins" by Robert Hendrickson (New York, 1997, Page 339). I first heard this term while meeting with some Christian businessmen a few months ago. It is an important metaphor for Every Generation Ministries (EGM).

Looking Back at God's Call

Twenty Year Reminisce

At certain times in life you stop and look back; birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and even Sundays we can stop and look back over the week, year or many years. These last few weeks have been a time for me to look back over the last twenty years. I decided that it might be fun to share some of the memories.

Hear from the President

I just returned from Lima, Peru where I had the opportunity to participate in their first National Children’s Ministry Congress. It was simply fantastic! Children’s workers from all over the country attended this major launching of our newest ministry in Peru. EGM team members John and Heather Chapman have done an outstanding job developing a leadership team to move the ministry forward.

Some of the highlights are as follows:
