Every Generation Ministries is governed and empowered by the all powerful God of the Bible. We turn to Him for help and direction through constant prayers. Our prayer requests are updated regularly. We would be honored and grateful if you would pray with us:

Prayer and Praise Reports 


Chile

Thanksgiving:
  • We thank God for the doors that He is opening, allowing us to expand the ministry in Chile.
  • For the openness and willingness of the Pastors Council in our city to get involved with EGM.
  • We thank God for the support that Pastor Roberto Manriquez has been and for the way that he started our ministry; making all the contacts and organizing EGM conferences with numerous churches.
  •  For the location of the EGM-Chile office in downtown Vina del Mar.
Prayers:
  • We ask that the Lord would wake up the church and that they would dedicate more of their time towards children’s work. 
  • We pray for every children’s worker, not only in our city, but in the entire country.
  • We pray for the monies that we will need for the new staff that we are hiring.
  • We pray for the adjustments(staff) that we are making in the Vina del Mar, EGM office.
  • We pray for more training and participation from each member of the EGM-Chile board.
  • We are grateful to the Lord for His mercy and the opportunity that we have to be working with this ministry.
 

Poland

Prayers:
  • We thank God in the passing year, in particular for the wonderful time with teachers at Workshops and for wonderful partners and co-workers at these Workshops.
  • We thank God for two churches: in Kielce and in Katowice which decided to enter the training-partnership program with Misja Pokoleń. We are praying in particular for teachers, children at the church in Kielce where two meetings took place.
  • We praise God for the possibility of buying a color digital printer, it will be more economical and we can “print on demand” which is really good for our magazine.
  • We pray for the work on new textbooks, in particular for the work of Ania and Agata, writing new lessons. Agata had repeated problems with her notebook computer which she uses for work; once again it had to be handed over for  warranty repair. It is making her work very difficult.
  • We are praying for the next edition of “Christmas in shoebox” with our booklet so that many children can experience the genuine love of the Jesus and feel a desire to get to know him as their Savior
  • Kasia and Piotr Słomian with great joy are expecting their third child.  They  already know that it will be a boy.

 

Egypt

Thanksgiving:
  • We praise God for the growth of our ministry, many groups now know about our publishing and trainings. The director had many great meetings with hundreds of pastors and leaders at conferences introducing the ministry .
  •  We praise God for the most recent executive committee meeting on December 5.  The committee interviewed some candidates for the position of Leadership Development Director.  Everyone agreed that Email Labib is the most qualified person to lead the leadership development, Email is 35 years, married, with twin girls. He has a long experience in Sunday school teaching and leadership. He will join the staff next Friday December 15.
  • We praise God for opportunities to start teaching our philosophy and methodology to the student of Sunday School Institute in Alexandria through the partnership with Children Friends.
Prayers:
  • We pray for the next Board Meeting and the orientation for three potential board members from the Catholic church, Methodist Church and Presbyterian church January 22- 24.
  • We pray for John Chapman's next trip. This will be last trip as a board member. John and his family are preparing to relocate to Peru.  We pray for Joe Cox as he will be traveling to Cairo for the first time to join the Board as USA representative.
  • We pray for the winter conference for 80 leaders in Luxor.  We pray for the safety of Tim Graves and Craig Cooper and the team from Voyagers Church whom will join us for the second year. 
  • We pray for the children all over the world to experience God's grace and mercy during this Christmas season.

 

Hungary

Thanksgiving:
  • We held a drama seminarium (09.12) It was very interesting. God blessed this day, and we hope these methods will be used in more churches.
  • The course for the new teachers is coming along well.
  • We had a very successful Teacher Committee meeting (08.12)
  • We are thankful for new board members: Irénke, Timi , Kinga.  Please pray for them as they find their places.  They took part in Orientation (07.12).
Prayers:
  • The new board members to find their place in this ministry, and God use them according to His will.
  • New teachers will be blessed in their work.
  • We are praying for bigger office space, where we can organize courses. 
  • God will provide a new Chairman of Board.

  

Romania

Thanksgiving:
  • We thank God for His help in preparation of the Christmas issue, (Journal Bible Teacher). Please, pray for these materials to be God's blessing and practical help and spiritual support for Sunday School teachers in their ministry.
  •  We thank God for all the devoted Christians in the Baptist Union who took part in the meeting of Children's workers (November 25, 2006). We entrust the Conference for Sunday School teachers into God's hands.
  • We thank God for two apartments that He gave as office space for the Mission. Our working conditions are much better, now.
  • We give thanks to the Lord for our 1st National Conference, from where we are getting good feedback and we can see how God used this in so many ways.
  • We are so thankful to God for His presence and His blessings we experienced during our Christmas-tour.  He opened new possibilities, through new relationships, at our first Conference in Bucharest.  We have too little words to say thanks to Him, for the gift of protection, caring, provision, the gift of the new relationships, new contacts and the gift of volunteers.
  • We are also thankful for the 11th issue of the Generatii Magazine, may God use it as a helpful tool in the teacher’s hands and hearts.
Prayers:
  • Please, pray for God's blessing of children's Christmas events. About 30 children's event are planned for this Christmas. They are going to be in orphanages, kindergartens and schools.
  • Please, continue praying for our sister Alla Silvanovich (worker of the Mission). Both she and members of her family are facing great challenges because of her husband's illness.
  • Praying for our Director, Daniel Bruda, and his wife as they face a challenging pregnancy.
  • Please pray for Ela, that God may give her strength and wisdom to finish her studies and succeed in her exams
  • Please pray for Emese, as she is trying to identify new teachers and to get them to involved in the local church.
  • Please pray for the involvement of the staff members in their local churches during Christmas time, and the outreach events for children.  May the children who don’t know the Savior experience  the real joy of Christmas, and understanding the true meaning of this Holiday – Jesus the King.

  U.S.

Thanksgiving:

  • We thank the Lord for supporters with a heart for children regarding the Banquets held in California and Texas.  Because of faithful giving and God’s hand in these events, the Curriculum Project was a tremendous success.
  • We are thankful for all the NMT (National Ministry Teams) serving worldwide as well as our partners in the United States.
  • We praise the Lord for support raised for the Johns family who will be making their move to California to continue their ministry with EGM early next year.
  • We are thankful for recent trips and contacts made in Mexico for a potential ministry with EGM.

Prayers:

  • Please pray for God’s guidance and direction for the Chapman’s deployment to Peru.
  • Please pray for Stuart and Judy Johns and their family as they make preparations for their move to California, (sale of home, vehicle for trip, finding home and school in California).
  • As always we pray that the Lord bless the ministry of EGM as it reaches children around the world during this Christmas holiday.
