We usually dedicate this section to one of those unsung Christian heroes serving with EGM here in the US or somewhere around the world. They are people who often have a greater impact than one might imagine. They continue to serve each day around the world helping to see children’s lives transformed. Our heroes are almost always humble servants who have no desire to be recognized and do not grumble when treated like a servant. They are not concerned about recognition. They simply want to minister to children. Our “Impact of One” hero is serving in the most remote churches. He is able to accomplish amazing transformation in the lives of children without much in the way of resources and children’s ministry training. He loves children. They flock to him and even though some people think it is a waste of time, he continues to faithfully serve. He has a tremendous concern for lost children and even though his Sunday school class may be full, he is still eager to reach out and find that next child who has not found a new life with God. I am of course thinking of Jesus Christ. He is The One and His impact is beyond compare. He is working with millions of children all around the world, even in the most isolated corner. Jesus loves every child and is always searching for lost children. Children love Him when they meet Him and He is in the full-time business of seeing children’s lives transformed. He is the founder of Every Generation Ministries and is actively leading our ministry. He attends all of our Board meetings and is working simultaneously in six countries while spearheading our growth efforts. He is leading our new International Curriculum Initiative and is heading up our fund raising work. Needless to say, He has more impact on our ministry than anyone else. He is the One. |
