Update from Romania

A huge request from the children's ministries in Romanian churches has been to have resources.  This need has gone unfulfilled for many years.  Teachers have written, saying their existing materials were written using the old schooling model, requiring the students to sit quietly and listen, with their hands behind their back, not interrupting, or being involved or interacting.

So, when the pilot curriculum was introduced last winter, it was a breath of fresh air for many teachers, who felt that they needed to make changes but did not know how.  Many of them confessed that this curriculum was an answer to their prayers.  They had never seen such a complex, dynamic and captivating curriculum in the Romanian language before.  It was filled with wonderful ideas and resources.

Lidia, a 54 year old teacher, was searching for a curriculum to use to teach the children in her Sunday school class.  When she found EGM-Romania's pilot curriculum, she stated, "I discovered an exceptional teaching and life changing resource which contains everything that a teacher desires."  She was so overwhelmed and excited as she shared how her students enjoyed the lessons.  The students were already learning the Bible story that she was teaching and were so captivated.  She was surprised as everything came alive to her students.  Her class was totally changed!  She did not have any more discipline problems; the children were actively taking part during class.  She mentioned that even the boys liked the crafts, which also provided an opportunity to share the gospel.  "It is amazing how many ways I discovered, through your book, to emphasize, present and reinforce the truth."

This curriculum is now ready to print in our first nationwide printing.  We are waiting for $17,000 in funding to make this printing possible.  Will you help Lidia and other teachers get this material.  You can help now!
