When Nicolae Ceausescu's communist government tumbled in 1989, he left a legacy of disdain for children and hopelessness that only the church and Christ’s powerful love for children can remedy. EGM Romania, launched in 2004, works with churches of all denominations to strengthen their outreach to the children and most of all-let them know they are loved by and valuable to their Creator. Led by Daniel Bruda, EGM Romania is one of God’s vessels for raising up a new generation of hopeful, optimistic and true Romanian believers.

 Major Ministry Plans

• Providing 15 Leadership Development conferences in pilot churches and involve denominational as  well as geographical representatives
• Begin Ministry involvement in Hungarian speaking Churches (Baptist and Reformed Churches)
• Organize Leadership Development Lessons into power-point presentations
• Evaluation of EGM’s teaching ideas being implemented in the pilot churches
• Planned, hands-on ministry activities with teachers and children interacting, demonstration lessons during and after conferences, and a focus on helping teachers to use available materials
• A three-day national leadership development camp for key leaders, expecting 80 participants
• Implementing new curriculum created by EGM
• Find regional leaders for Moldova, Banat and Transylvania
• Edit and publish the Sunday School and VBS programs

• Hiring a new staff member: bookkeeper/administrative assistant
