Are the Bible teaching materials translated from English or created uniquely for each culture? |
|
In some countries, the only available materials have been translated from English sources. These usually undergo significant editing and are not ideal but are preferred for economic reasons. In most of our national ministries, the goal is to produce materials from within the culture and in the language of the country. This allows teachers to have tools that can connect the Word of God with the unique life of their children. EGM is currently undertaking this task through the International Curriculum Initiative.
