Titus Project
Every Generation Ministries always knew that national Christian leaders were best suited to reaching the boys and girls of their communities. Since our inception, we have established national ministries staffed and governed by national Christian leaders. We have come to realize ... this is two legs of a three legged stool.
The third leg is about funding.
The "Titus Project" is a new ministry initiative that will help our national ministries move towards national ministry funding. EGM has established National Ministry Teams in eight countries to see Children Transformed in Christ through His Church. EGM teams are providing high-quality Bible teaching materials and innovative leadership development training for children’s workers in local churches. Our National Ministry Teams are looking for new effective ways to impact children through the church.
Nearly 2,000 years ago, the Apostle Paul sent Titus to Corinth to give the people vision for raising funds from within their churches to support the famine afflicted church in Jerusalem (I Corinthians 16:1-4; II Corinthians 8:6). He was sent a second time to encourage the completion of the offering (II Corinthians 816 ff.). From that time on, Titus has been a name that is associated with God’s people and giving.

The Titus Pilot Project is an exciting ministry initiative that will move our ministries towards increased effectiveness within their own culture. The simple goal of the Titus Project is to make the operational costs of our National Ministry Teams fully funded from within their country within three years.
The Titus Project Will:
-
Fully engage national churches and Christians at the heart level as they fully support the national ministry work,
-
Encourage our EGM national ministry to become more accountable to their own national Christian leadership,
-
Further increase ministry relevance causing even more boys and girls to experience the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
* Titus Project Executive Summary!
Testimony:
I was traveling with pastor Ivan (not his real name) this Sunday and we spoke about many things. I shared about the "Titus Project" with him and was joyfully surprised by his comment - "it is about time we teach churches to participate with their money in God's work".
I asked - you think it will have any effect on churches and their financial support?
Ivan replied
" our church is not large. we participate in Samaritain Purse projects. For three last years we decided we will not ask for any money from them to do these projects. We will cope with the cost ourselves. It is the matter of attitude and mind".
I asked Ivan - do you think the training, which we will present as US ministry will be relevant to Belarus reality and he said - "it will work for 90%, just do it".
I asked Ivan if he can be at the training and give his testimony about his church. He said "sure".
Praise God for such good sign from Him. We are on the right track.
