EGM'S Ministry
Leadership Development
Though the work of EGM Hungary is currently in a leadership transition, we are blessed with a wonderful team of volunteer and staff leadership development workers who have carried on the work of helping children’s ministry leaders in churches. As they have shared with churches about the biblical model for children’s ministry, they have been warmly received and God is using them in amazing ways! For years, this team has been faithful and as a result, the ministry is well respected among churches as a leader in children’s ministry.
Publishing
Though the ministry in Hungary has for many years provided for the churches with American materials translated into Hungarian, their greater vision is to see more culturally relevant materials made available. Therefore, they have embarked on the adventure of creating their own materials as part of EGM’s International Curriculum Initiative. The first set of 10 lessons will soon be published.
_________________________________________________
Today, a small staff supports a large volunteer team that is working with children’s workers across the country to help them become Model Children’s Workers who teach the Truth, use Experiential ... Methods, Discuss the Bible truth and the real lives of their children, give children ways to Respond to God in real life and do all of that with a Relational Ministry approach. The ministry is deeply rooted in churches as is indicated by the nearly seventy percent financial support received from within Hungary!
